chad & melissa | 7yr anniversary!

Chad and Melissa are such a cute couple. Melissa said that I had taken photos of almost ALL of her old sorority sisters and their families, so she wanted a reason to have their photos taken! Well, Chad and Melissa are celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary, so what better reason than that??!! They're actually in their favorite place right now celebrating...MEXICO!! No worries though, according to Melissa's facebook status they are clear of the swine flu. Ha! They were telling me that they had planned a beautiful outdoor wedding 7 years ago, and it was raining the entire day, so they didn't get even ONE outdoor photo. They said it wasn't only raining, it was nasty--wind whipping the sides of the tent up and down, and I believe that Drew (the dad from my previous post with the triplets) got a ton of rain water dumped on him when part of the tent collapsed. As they described the day to me last weekend, they can laugh about it all now, but I'm sure that that was a disappointing thing to have to deal with on their wedding day. In any case, these photos are to replace those outdoor photos that they never received on their wedding day! And thank the Lord we had an awesome day!!!

Meet Chad & Melissa!

Melissa's one request. Apparently when they had their engagement photos taken 7 years ago, then did this exact pose. Melissa made sure she had everything exact...she even pulled the photo out to look the morning of our shoot so she knew exactly what side of Chad her head was on. It should be a fun side-by-side group of photos to frame!

Thank you so much, Chad & Melissa. It was so nice meeting you. I'm a little disappointed you didn't hire me to fly down to Mexico with you to do the shoot there, but oh well! (just kidding)!! Just keep that in mind for future trips south of the border;) Enjoy your slideshow, and have a pina colada poolside for me!

kenzie, olivia & morgan | triplets

I'll have to admit that triplets were a first for me! I have done several twin shoots, but never triplets! Katie and Drew had a thorough system if I've ever seen one!!! They pulled up in their SUV and I took a look inside. All three car seats were packed in the center seats of the SUV (it was a BIG SUV), all facing backwards. They first got the wagon out that was constructed much like a caterpillar (you'll see in the photos below). Then one by one, they each got a girl out and sat her in the wagon. You can tell they've got that routine down because what would have taken me 20 minutes to accomplish, took them about 2! Ha! The girls were so good and loved being out in the warm weather!

Meet the Yagodnik triplets! From L to R: Olivia, Morgan & Kenzie!

Olivia kept her bow in for about 10 seconds! Ha! Just long enough to get one photo!

These crack me up because each girls' expression is so different!

Here's the wagon that I think looks like a caterpillar. What an awesome thing for them to transport the girls in!!!

emma | newborn

I was so excited to meet my new little cousin for the first time. I had seen a TON of photos that Emma's mommy and daddy had posted of her, but I didn't get to see her in person until last weekend. Ryan and Lindsey (whom you right remember from their pregnancy shoot) drove up from Kentucky and we did Emma's newborn shoot at my house! Miss Emma was an absolute princess!!;)
